FEW WORDS ABOUT THE ISLAND
Kefalonia is the largest and most mountainous of the Ionian Islands and the third most populous after Corfu and Zakynthos. Located opposite the entrance of the Patraikos Gulf, north of Zakynthos, south of Lefkada and west of Ithaki.
The island has an area of approximately 781 square kilometers. and a population of 35.801 inhabitants. Much of the area occupied by the mountain Enos designated as a National Park  with main peaks that of Megas Soros (1.628m.), Holy Dinati (1.131m.), Evmorfia (1.043m.) And Red Rahi (1.078m.) The main valleys are those of Kranaia, the peninsula Paliki, the Arakleia and Sami.
